I am an evaluator and program design specialist with a passion for education, health equity, and data analytics. I hold two passports, speak four languages and have gone to school in multiple countries. Born in Brazil but raised in Maine (2 hours from the “other” Portland), I am an advocate for increasing diverse representation and role modeling for today's youth. With my multicultural background and dual Master’s degrees in International Education Management and Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, I am constantly seeking out creative solutions to foster diverse, inclusive and adaptive approaches to community building and community engagement. As an Epidemiologist/Research Evaluation Analyst Senior at the Multnomah County Health Department, I work with local communities to build community-based data collection and evaluation methods. When not in front of a computer screen, you can find me reading Harry Potter in Portuguese or French, biking along the Willamette River and dancing out on the dance floor.
